School of Hard Rocks Classes

UNFORTUNATELY, THE SCHOOL OF HARD ROCKS

SUMMER 2011!

We are accepting applications now!

We are running weeklong band day camps during the summer of 2009, so sign up HERE now!

Tuition is only $495.00 per weeklong session.

(Current students of Joe Hart and returning School students receive a $50.00 discount!)

The camps will run Monday through Friday on these weeks:

July 13 to July 17

July 27 to July 31

August 10 to August 14

August 24 to August 28

Each day will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (earlier drop off and later pick up can be arranged -- just contact us) and the Friday of each week will feature a live performance (starting at 7 p.m.) that anyone can attend!

In addition to the concert, each week's band will write and record an original song!

Along with memories that will last a lifetime, every student will get all kinds of "goodies" including a cool School of Hard Rocks T-shirt, customized guitar picks, various music company stickers, a "Joe Hart" poster, a CD recording of the song that they wrote and recorded during the session (with full-color CD artwork), and we're still thinking up more great stuff to give you!!

And here are some classes that we are working on for the fall/winter of 2008:

Join us for the weekend at The School of Hard Rocks!

Rock all weekend long with experienced teachers guiding you every step of the way!

During the weekend session, you will have an individual audition where you get to play a bit and talk about what you want to learn and do. We will discuss your strengths and weaknesses. This will be done in a group setting, so that everyone can learn from everyone else. But don't be shy! You will not be evaluated on criteria like how fast you can play or how many songs you know or anything like that. This is a non-stressful learning experience for everyone. Music's fun, after all!

We will also decide on a project for the weekend. We can write an original song and record it to a CD that you can play for your family and friends, work on cover tunes and perform a show on Sunday, make a video, just jam and soak up the rock vibes -- the options are almost endless!

And don't worry if you've never played in a band before. We'll educate you in regards to band etiquette, the "rules of the road," and what to expect. Believe us, you'll have a blast!

Open Jam Sessions

Do you want the creative stimulus of jamming with other musicians? Do you just want to let loose but don't know how to meet like-minded musicians? We offer open jam sessions at our studio. Stop by to play, listen, network, and just have a great time! Check back for dates and times and get inspired!

Week-long "Rock and Roll Band" Day Camp

Have you ever wanted to live out your rock and roll fantasy? Well, here's your chance! We will be conducting 5-day summer camps where you can form a band, write an original song, then play a concert with the band on the final night! And you can invite all of your family and friends to the show so they can see the star that you've become! You will have the experience of a lifetime and will go home with a professional CD of your band's song, a DVD of the concert featuring YOU, a concert poster of your band, a professional photo of the band, and memories that you will never ever forget!

Modifying an Electric Guitar or Bass

Do you like your guitar or bass? Do you want to LOVE it? We will show you how to modify your instrument to be exactly what you want. No prior experience necessary.

Building and Modifying a Distortion Box

Almost every guitarist (and lots of bassists and keyboardists -- and even some vocalists) use some sort of distortion effect. Have you ever wanted to have your own individual sound? Want to learn how to modify effects pedals? It's surprisingly easy!! No prior experience necessary.

Band Consulting

We offer our expertise to you and your band. Need general help "getting it together"? Need something more specific? Our staff of professional musicians can help you get to the next level in any musical direction you need.

Recording Studio

We have a great sounding room and all the gear to help you get your music down for the world to hear! We can do anything from a simple one-song demo to a full-length CD (including artwork design, full-color printing, manufacture, and duplication). Why go anywhere else?
