At The Music School of Hard Rocks, we will take the time to nurture your development as a musician, but the more you know going in, the more you will get out of your experience with us.

Here is some basic info that we feel will help you prepare to make the most of your time with us.

• Know how to tune your instrument (if needed) and know basic maintenance of your gear.

• Know some general music theory. You can download and print a PDF file that Joe Hart put together HERE.

• Have decent rhythmic timing. You should always practice with a metronome!

• Know the 12-bar blues format. There is a cool page explaining it HERE.
